Founded by two media practitioners, EAVU recognizes the importance drawing media attention to the problem of acid attack violence before it can be solved. This is especially true because many acid attack survivors in Uganda live isolated lives due to stigma they face in public.
Members of EAVU and their partner organizations have approached various media houses that they have asked for coverage regarding issues concerning the dangers of acid violence. We are so grateful that whichever media house we have approached on this matter has always been positive. Among the media houses we have worked with include NBS TV, NTV, Radio Simba, the New Vision, the Daily Monitors Newspaper and Watchdog.
